Water & Sewer Rates

Water-News Tile

The City Council adopted the 2024-2025 utility rates in their June meeting. The 2023 Western Region Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 4.32% inflation rate was used to aid in the decision making process for rate increases, along with rising costs to run the water and sewer systems, upcoming  wastewater projects, and the need to continue to build the water and sewer reserve funds.

New rates take effect at the beginning of the fiscal year on July 1, 2024 and will be reflected on the July bills received in early August. The water base rate remains unchanged, but tiered usage rates have increased. The sewer base rate increased $1.50 per month, as well as increases to the tiered usage rates. The system’s highest users will see the most significant increase in their monthly bill. Sewer only customers will see a $2 increase per month. To view the full utility rate memo, click HERE. If you receive paper utility statements, a copy has also been enclosed with your June utility bill. Paperless customers will receive a copy via email. Please contact City Hall with any questions.
